Saie Just Dropped a Bronzer Version of Their Viral Liquid Blush

When summertime rolls around, we tend to swap our heavy-duty products in favor of makeup that feels like skincare. Unless there’s an event to go to or a photo shoot to be had, applying a heavy layer of foundation, blush, and bronzer when the sun is high (and so is the humidity) can feel a little much. Lighter formulas that put the skin first are a no-brainer in the summer, and Saie’s newest launch comes just in time.

On May 14, Saie launched Dew Bronze ($25, a bronzer version of their viral liquid blush. If you’ve ever tried the brand’s Dew Blush ($25), you know how bendable yet pigmented it is, and the liquid bronzer boasts a similar impressive formula. Like all of Saie’s products, it’s formulated with skin-loving ingredients and has a glowy, skin-like finish.

The Inspiration

Saie’s Dew Blush is a favorite on TikTok for its pretty, easy-to-wear shades and dewy finish. The pigments pack a punch, but are easily blended and look natural and glowy on the skin. Saie wanted to bring this beloved formula to the bronzer category, including the skin-loving ingredients we all know and love.

While cream bronzers have dominated the market in the past few years, liquid bronzers are starting to make a major comeback. “I wanted to reimagine what liquid bronzer can be, making it both nourishing, blendable and effortless,” says Saie’s CEO and Founder Laney Cromwell of the launch. “I’m not a makeup artist so I want that soft-sculpted, soft-focus bronzed look without the intricate steps. Dew Bronze is so easy to apply, mistake-proof, and melts in beautifully.”

The Formula

Saie’s Dew Bronzer follows the brand’s skincare-first approach and is infused with hydrating and soothing ingredients. Plant-derived glycerin is plumping, and evening primrose nourishes and heals dry and sensitive skin, while silica blurs and softens the skin’s texture.

The formula has a creamy, thin texture that is easy to blend in, so it’s perfect for beginners or those who don’t love a heavy bronzed look. It comes in six shades spanning cool, neutral, and warm undertones, and has a fuzzy doe-foot applicator for a targeted, no-fuss application. Since the formula leans on the sheerer side, it melts into the skin and avoids looking streaky or cakey on the cheeks.

To apply, simply dip into the product with the doe-foot applicator and add one to three dots onto your cheekbones, temples, forehead, on your nose, and wherever else you expect the sun to hit your face. Those who prefer a more sculpted look will have to build up the product since it offers a more natural look. The result? Soft, glowy skin that looks as though it just got backfrom vacation.
